Will a steel board dull my knives?
Steel is harder than wood, so a very fine edge will dull a little faster than on a soft wooden board, but most home cooks will not even notice.
Does it rust?
It is stainless steel, so it resists rust in normal kitchen use. Wash and dry it after use, like any steel pan, and it stays that way.
